The Noodler – 6/2/17

The idea is every day, I will post a “noodler” – questions using the daily prompt, with the hope to inspire interaction and response.  I will respond for me in my comments, and you can respond in comments, or re-blog with your response and ask your readers to participate too.

Today’s Noodler:

What does it sound like in your mind?  Do you hear your thoughts?

Do you hear music?  If so, is it a song stuck in your head, or random sounds?

Is it constant or on and off?

If you hear sounds, what does it sound like – brassy, percussive, electronic, buzzing, etc.? Do you enjoy it, or does it drive you nuts? Where do you think it comes from?

Comment here or re-blog with your answers!  You don’t have to answer every question, whatever picks at you is awesome!!

  1. I addition to my propensity for earworm tunes (my 2 most common are: Under The Boardwalk by the Drifters and Why Do Fools Fall In Love by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers), I have recently developed what I suppose is merely tinnitus, which I know is technically an EAR problem, but presents itself as hot summer night crickets inside my head. Oy. I could definitely go for some peace & quiet.

  2. Oft. You don’t not want to know what’s in my head. I don’t even want to know. Lately it’s a moody bitch trying to remain calm when all she wants to do it tho people and myself down. Basking in the hurt. My voice is an absolute bitch. Can’t wait till she leaves for a while, so I can get back to the music track from Moana. Or maybe that’s the reason I’m mental?

  3. I have tinnitus in both ears so I hear constant ringing. It can be very distracting; sometimes I miss boarding my train of thought.

  4. LOL I couldn’t write all the thoughts in my head. It’s my voice. It was so bad at one point that I had to make lists, lots of list for just one days activities. Literally for everything, because the noise would drown out things that needed to be done. My son says that most people see one step ahead, and that I see 50 steps ahead. Yep and they are all talking at the same time 😉 LOL
