Our Dark Night of the Soul

When I started losing my mind - I mean really losing it - I learned the term Dark Night of the Soul. It helped me feel less lost. It helped me see that destruction comes before creation. Or that sometimes you do need to burn it all down to get to the new. I don’t... Continue Reading →

A Victim Blames, a Warrior Heals

This is as logical as put on your sock before you put on your shoe. You cannot be good to others if you aren't good to yourself. And what you get is a lot of people hurting others while complaining somebody hurt them.

Renaissance, Renaissance, Renaissance!

Can’t everyone stop arguing about masks and broken political systems and on and on so we can get to the good stuff? Chant it with me: Renaissance. Renaissance. Renaissance. No Phoenix sets herself ablaze to become the same bird. No caterpillar disintegrates in the chrysalis to come out a caterpillar. Death. Rebirth. Transformation. There is... Continue Reading →

Make Words Mean their Definitions Again!

Remember when words meant their definition? If I said literally, I meant something was not figurative. Yet now, figuratively is the new literally and I [insert whatever word you like regardless of definition] can't even Remember when tolerant meant tolerant? Unbecoming

Unbecoming I am tired of the bullshit; I am tired of the lies I am tired of denial; I am tired of fake smiles   My head remains unbowed; my back is still not broken I release the veil and the shroud, begin the unbecoming When everyone is winning, I deny defeat   You can... Continue Reading →

Catfish

Catfish   When you said I love you Did you know That love was two slices of bread In a make-believe sandwich And that sandwich would become a wall The walls of a prison we built With the meats and cheeses, lettuce, tomato All of the fixings of lies Imagination of what it’s supposed to... Creating Something from Nothing

Woke up at 4:30. Actually more like 4 but I was meditating and vibing with the universe type deal before I got out of bed. I made coffee, did my thing, came in and wrote in my book for a little bit.   The book is called Ayam. An important part of creating something from... Continue Reading →
