There is no hell like addiction. For those who are enslaved by their drugs of choice, and for those who love them so much, they get up every day and hug barbed wire. There is no hell like being an enabler to that barbed wire. Though you know deep in your soul, the only way... Continue Reading →
When a person is shamed, or has behaved wrongly, etc. I’ve heard “you’ve forgotten the face of your father” I never have heard you’ve forgotten the face of your mother. What is a society that overwhelmingly and primarily doesn’t know their mother? Doesn’t acknowledge their mother? Expects everything of their mother, but gives her only... Continue Reading →
“It’s good that he is quiet, because that means he is thinking. When smart people aren’t ruled or overpowered by their emotions, they can think, and they can solve the problem. That’s a good thing, unless you’re the problem.” While he’s thinking, she’s remembering. When they’re raging, the problems that “can’t be solved” multiply. Inspired... Continue Reading →

All of us have had a bruise, so all of us have had some kind of skin trauma. To others, skin trauma means something "really bad" like someone shaved off your face and wore it. Not all of us have had our faces removed, but we have all had trauma. And we need to talk about it - because trauma can only be healed by being processed
Catfish When you said I love you Did you know That love was two slices of bread In a make-believe sandwich And that sandwich would become a wall The walls of a prison we built With the meats and cheeses, lettuce, tomato All of the fixings of lies Imagination of what it’s supposed to... You do not need statistical data nor exponential equations to learn the power of doing nothing. 5 minutes of meditation a day teaches how powerful doing nothing is. In fact, it saved my life. Before I meditated, I was the type of person who worked 60 hour weeks, cooked huge dinners, cleaned the house, and... Continue Reading →
